Producir análisis estratégicos y propuestas de acción tendientes a optimizar la proyección global de las regiones donde opera la Orden de San Ignacio de Loyola a través de sus Representante Diplomáticos (Embajadores Culturales).
Las problemáticas que ocupa se motiva en la generación de ejes para la conformación de un marco estratégico, la proyección de políticas activas y realistas.

La obtención e intercambio de ideas, pueden ser a través de los medios de información y de diversas instituciones educativas , previligiándo la participación de estudiantes, ya sea en proyectos de investigación, como mediante la organización de seminarios, talleres, y conferencias incluyendo un programa de publicaciones periódicas y especializados y l seguimiento a través de la página Web, en la que se pueden volcar de modo gratuito desde análisis de coyuntura, hasta trabajos monográficos, “papers”, artículos e investigaciones.
Se aspira a mantener un contacto fluido con ONGs de modo de evaluar la posibilidad de transformar estos consensos en resultados concretos.

Preocupa asimismo la percepción generalizada en tono a la creciente incapacidad de los sistemas democráticos para resolver los problemas concretos de la gente. La democracia en el hemisferio no está dando respuestas, por lo que se impone un profundo debate en torno del “aggiornamiento” y formulación del sistema, focalizando en ciertos temas clave como la “accoountability”, la lucha contra la corrupción, la maximificación de la eficacia, el fortalecimiento de la sociedad civil y el afianzamiento del concepto de ciudadanía.

Por otro lado, la creciente pauperización de las sociedades latinoamericanas está generando niveles de conflicto social muy alto. La pobreza ha provisto un campo propicio para las actividades marginales , la delincuencia y la violencia ya no pueden ser contenidos con soluciones simplistas.
